Vancouver City Council unanimously approves ʔəy҆alməxʷ/Iy҆álmexw/Jericho Lands Policy Statement
The MST Partnership and Canada Lands Company (MST-CLC) are pleased that Vancouver City Council unanimously approved the Policy Statement for ʔəy҆alməxʷ/Iy҆álmexw/Jericho Lands, which was developed in partnership with the City of Vancouver.
ʔəy҆alməxʷ/Iy҆álmexw/Jericho Lands Policy Statement: A Major Milestone
Today, the City of Vancouver has released a draft Policy Statement for ʔəy҆alməxʷ/Iy҆álmexw/Jericho Lands, which was developed in partnership with the MST Partnership and Canada Lands Company (MST-CLC). The Policy Statement, if approved by Vancouver City Council, will set the principles and policies that guide the development of the site.
Revised Site Concept - June 2023
The MST Partnership and Canada Lands Company are proud to share a revised site concept for the development of the Jericho Lands. The revised site concept is the subject of a fourth phase of a City of Vancouver-led engagement process which began in 2019.

On April 13, 2023, the Cultural Liaisons from the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations presented how MST Culture will be celebrated at ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands.
Site Concepts
This fall, the City of Vancouver’s ʔəy̓alməxʷ/Iy̓álmexw/Jericho Lands policy planning program moves into its third phase, which includes opportunities for you to provide input into two conceptual site plan options that have been designed based on input and feedback from phase one and phase two of engagement.
MST Cultural Liaisons Announced
In 2019, we were pleased to include Cultural Liaisons from each of the MST Nations as part of the project team. The Cultural Liaisons are providing advice to the team throughout the planning process.
